Caitlin Hulcup
Introduction
Caitlin Hulcup has appeared at theatres including Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Royal Opera House London, Bayerisches Staatsoper, Teatro Real Madrid, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, La Monnaie Brussels and Palau de les Arts Valencia. She sang Handel's Ariodante in London and Madrid with Les Talens Lyriques, later reprising the role at the Halle Handel Festival, at Theater an der Wien and in Braunschweig. She has sung Meg Page at the Theatre des Champs Elysees, Dorabella for Scottish Opera, and Rosina at the Wiener Staatsoper. Frequently a soloist for oratorio and masses, she has performed Beethoven's 9th Symphony in Venezuela with Gustavo Dudamel and at the BBC Proms, Mozart C minor Mass in Hamburg with Jeremie Rhorer, and Bach Kantaten at the Konzerthaus Wien.
This season she performed both Donna Elvira and the title role of Der Rosenkavalier with Zubin Mehta. She also sang Vivaldi's Griselda in Sydney, and Carmen in concert at the Mikhailovski Theatre St Petersburg.
