Adrian Noble
Adrian Noble was the Artistic Director and Chief Exectutive of the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1990 to 2003. He has also directed several successful London West End musicals including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Secret Garden. He won the 1981 Circle Theatre Award for Best Director of the 1980 production of A Doll's House.
His most recent opera includes Cosi Fan Tutte and Le Nozze di Figaro with the Opera de Lyon and Macbeth at the Metropolitan Opera. Future engagements include Carmen for the Opera Comique, Don Giovanni for Opera de Lyon and Alcina for the Vienna State Opera.
