Anna Samuil
Anna Samuil is a prize-winner of many international competitions, including “Franco Corelli” in Italy, “Neue Stimmen” in Gütersloh, “Claudia Taev” in Estonia (first prize), “Mikhail Glinka” (first prize), “XII Tchaikovsky International Competition” in Moscow, “Concorso Riccardo Zandonai” (first prize) and the “Daphne-Preis” in 2008
Ms Samuil has been singing leading roles at Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, the Edinburgh Festival, Teatro alla Scala Milan, Metropolitan Opera Salzburg Festival, Norges Opera Norway, Grand Theatre Luxembourg, the Festival de Musique de La Reunion, L'Opéra National de Lyon and Hamburg State Opera.
Her future engagements include various leading roles at Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Donna Anna with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Zubin Mehta, in Pittsburg and in a new production of Don Giovanni by Sam Mendes at Glyndebourne. Furthermore she will be singing La Juive in Amsterdam at the Netherlands Opera and will give her Mimi debut at the Izmir Opera.
Ms Samuil continues to give recitals throughout Europe with an ‘all-Goethe’ and an ‘all-Russian’ programme.
