Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen

Our touring relationship with Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen began in 1997, when the orchestra were part of Gidon Kremer's Kremerata Musica Schubert celebrations at the Barbican Centre. With Daniel Harding at the helm as Music Director, we arranged further tours for them including performances at the BBC Proms and the Barbican, the Festival de Saint Denis, the Wratislavia Cantans Festival, and a highly successful tour of Japan with Viktoria Mullova and Ian Bostridge as soloists in 2001. Highlights in 2003 have included a European tour with Leif Ove Andsnes in March, plus a visit to the Snape Proms before a sold-out BBC Prom at the Royal Albert Hall which was televised on BBC1.
