Eduard Tsanga

Born in Syktjvkar, in the Republic of Komi in 1979, Eduard Tsanga entered the Glinka Conservatoire in Nizhni-Novgorod and studied under Prof. Sedov in 1998. Since 2000 he is has been a soloist of the Marinsky Theatre Academy in St.Petersburg and is student of Larissa Gergieva. He has toured Europe and Russia as a recitalist accompanied by Gergieva and has performed at the Aix-En-Provence Festival with Daniel Harding and at the Royal Festival Hall with Maestro Gergiev and the Mariinsky Theatre. He is second prizewinner of the International Elena Obratzova Competition in 2001, third prize winner of the VII International Boris Christov Competition in Sofia in 2000 and also at the IV International Rimski Korsakov Competition of young opera singers.
