Jean-Paul Fouchecourt

Jean-Paul Fouchecourt has gained an international reputation as one of the leading interpreters of French baroque music, particularly Rameau where his performance of the title role in "Platee" is renowned. He is also well known for his performance of 20th Century French music including composers such as Rosenthal, Satie, Ravel, Poulenc and Debussy. Mr Fouchecourt combines excellent musicality with strong stage presence meaning that he is also sought after in many of opera's character tenor parts. He has invitations from the Metropolitan Opera, Paris Opera, Covent Garden, Opera de Lyon, Opera du Rhin in Strasbourg, Geneva Opera, Baden Baden Festival and Opera de Monte Carlo.
