Ji-Min Park

Korean tenor Ji-Min Park is a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, where is currently singing in productions of Contes d'Hoffman and Turandot. He has won several awards including the Vienna Staatsoper Special Prize, the International Belvedere Singing Competition in Austria, and First Prize and Audience Prize at the Internaiton Art Song Competition in France. Ji-Min is enjoying great success at Covent Garden and has been contracted for performances of Tristan und Isolde next season.

Last season, amongst other roles, he sang Gastone de Letorieres and Alfredo Germon (La Traviata) and Scaramuccio (Ariadne auf Naxos). For the JPYAP 2008 summer concert of operatic extracts, Ji-Min sang Flamand (Capriccio), Basilio (Nozze di Figaro) and Belfiore (Il viaggio a Reims).

Recent other performances have included recitals in La Scala in Milan, La Fenice in Venezia (Gala Concert) and for the Royal Opera lunchtime recital series.
