Kammerorchester Basel

Successfully combining old and new repertoire, the Kammerorchester Basel has gained much critical acclaim in recent times from their international touring and their excellent series of recordings with Arte Nova. Performing with conductors such as Christopher Hogwood, Philippe Herreweghe, Ton Koopman and Robert Levin, the ensemble has increased its national and international reputations. Askonas Holt looks forward to touring the Basel Kammerorchester with Paul Goodwin in November 2005 when they will undertake a European tour with Magdalena Kozena and David Daniels singing Handel opera duets.
