Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century

The company has a long association with the Orchestra of the 18th Century. Under its founder, Frans Bruggen, this Amsterdam-based orchestra, forms four times a year purely to tour. In May 2003, the orchestra toured the UK performing Schubert's Symphony No.8 'Unfinished' and Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 'Eroica' to stunned audiences in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Salisbury and London. The five star Guardian review reported '...the end result kept you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end'.
