Paata Burchuladze

The eminent Georgian bass Paata Burchuladze is known all over the world for his many recordings and performances at the world's leading opera houses.

His repertoire includes the great Russian bass roles of Boris Godunov and Khovanshina, as well as 'Aida', 'Nabucco', 'Don Carlo', 'La Forza del Destino', 'Ernani', and 'Rigoletto'.

His recent operatic engagements include amongst others: Alvise in 'La Gioconda' for Opera de Nice and Opera Royal de Wallonie as well as for the Metropolitan Opera, Mephistopheles in 'Faust' in Malaga, Padre Guardiano in 'La Forza del Destino' at the Opera de Monte Carlo and title role in 'Mephistopheles' at the Opera Royal de Wallonie.

Future engagements will include Opera Royal de Wallonie, Opera Monte Carlo, Deutsch Oper Berlin, Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), Teatro Cervantes de Malaga, Bastille Paris Opera and Licieu Barcelona
