Timothy Robinson
Having been a member of the Royal Opera, Covent Garden, Timothy Robinson has also appeared with English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, the Glyndebourne Festival and the Paris Opera. He sang Peter Quint in ‘The Turn of the Screw’ in Salzburg and made his debuts with the Vienna Philharmonic and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras under Sir Simon Rattle.
His recent opera engagements include Lysander in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for Glyndebourne, ‘The Greek Passion’ and ‘The Bartered Bride’ for the Royal Opera and Captain Vere in ‘Billy Budd’ for both English National Opera and Hamburg Opera. He returned to Hamburg Opera for further performances of 'Billy Budd' and sang Peter Quint for Leipzig Opera, Innsbruck Opera and English National Opera. He will sing Aschenbach (“Death in Venice”) in Salzburg.
