Toby Spence

Toby Spence has sung with Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, the Royal Opera, Covent Garden, the Monnaie, Brussels, San Francisco Opera, the Paris Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, the Teatro Real, Madrid and at the Salzburg, Aix-en-Provence and Edinburgh festivals. Current projects include Tom Rakewell (“The Rake’s Progress”) for the Paris Opera, the Theater an der Wien, the Teatro Real, Madrid, the Royal Opera and the New York City Opera; Pylade (“Iphigenie en Tauride”) in Hamburg; Candide for English National Opera and Tito (“La clemenza di Tito”) with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He will sing Henry Morosus in the new production of Die Schweigsame Frau for the Bavarian State Opera.
