New appointment for Diego Matheuz
Many congratulations to Diego Matheuz on his appointment as Principal Guest Conductor of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Diego wowed Melbourne audiences with his performances of Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky and Latin American classics in February and was quickly identified by the orchestra as an ideal partner for new Chief Conductor Sir Andrew Davis. He will visit the MSO for four weeks a season starting in 2013 with a Stravinsky ballet festival.
