In May 2009, Askonas Holt proudly organized the Orquesta Nacional de España´s UK debut, under their Principal Conductor Josep Pons, with two exciting sold-out concerts in London and Birmingham showcasing a programme full of Spanish flavour that included Joaquin Rodrigo's ever fresh guitar concerto 'Concierto de Aranjuez' with the eminent Spanish guitarist José María Gallardo del Rey.
