Adam joined Askonas Holt in April 2019 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Theatre and Performance Studies. Prior to this, Adam completed an MA(Hons) in English Literature at the University of Dundee, graduating with First Class Honours. A keen opera lover, Adam’s time at university was spent researching numerous aspects of the art form; including Verdi’s continuation of the 19th century bel-canto aesthetic and Richard Strauss’ role in early 20th century Austrian modernism.
As an accordionist and a pianist, Adam has held a long relationship with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Through this charity, he has travelled across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand championing Scottish music. In his spare time, Adam enjoys cooking, reading, travelling and hearing as much live music as possible.
