Rowan graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a BMus (Hons) specialising in cello and Viola da Gamba in 2019. Alongside her studies, she managed various college ensembles and was also employed as Brecon Baroque’s Festival Assistant from 2017-2019, which fuelled her ambition to work within artist management.
Her interest in Early Music, both as an instrumentalist and singer, has led to some memorable performance opportunities. Recent highlights include playing alongside Rachel Podger and the Brecon Baroque Ensemble, Fretwork at Dartington Hall and masterclasses with world renowned gamba players Vittorio Ghielmi, Hille Perl and Sarah Cunningham.
Following her graduation and a short period of freelancing and teaching, Rowan joined Askonas Holt in February 2020. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, singing in chamber choirs and tap dancing.
