Alexandre Bloch extends his term as Music Director, Orchestre National de Lille until 2024



Ivan Renar, President of the National Orchestra of Lille, on the proposal of Director General, François Bou and in agreement with the Board of Directors, extended Alexandre Bloch’s contract as Musical Director until July 2024.

This season, the orchestra and Alexandre embark on a Mahler cycle, perform Stravinsky’s Petrushka, undertake recording work and continue their innovative ‘Smartphony’ interactive concert series. Alexandre’s season also includes visits to Gurzenich-Orchester Köln and his stage debut for Opera de Lyon to conduct George Benjamin’s Lessons in Love and Violence and returns to Düsseldorfer Symphoniker.
