Talented French conductor joins the AH Conductor roster
Askonas Holt is delighted to announce the signing of Alexandre Bloch for worldwide general management.
Alexandre came to international attention as the winner of the 2012 Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition and soon after made his critically-acclaimed debut at the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
He is Assistant Conductor at London Symphony Orchestra and will conduct a variety of projects with the ensemble over the coming months as part of the Award. Future plans include debuts with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, NWD Philharmonie, Orchestre Chambre de Paris and Manchester Camerata.
Born in 1985, Bloch studied ‘cello, composition and conducting in Orléans, later concentrating on conducting in Zsolt Nagy’s class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris.
He was named ‘2012 Talent’ by ADAMI (French Society for Performers’ Rights).
