This Friday 7 September Italian tenor Andrea Carè makes his house debut at the Finnish National Opera to perform as Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca. In a new production by director Christof Loy, Andrea will reincarnate this signature role for ten performances over two months.
Andrea will then stay in Scandinavia for his next performances in Aida at the Royal Swedish Opera, before moving to the Wiener Staatsoper for his house debut, performing the role of B.F. Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Later, Andrea performs La Gioconda at La Monnaie Brussels and at the Liceu Barcelona, and next season, Andrea will make his MET opera debut.
