Andrei Bondarenko triumphs in Cardiff

The Ukrainian baritone won the Song Prize at this year’s BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition

We are immensely proud to announce that Andrei Bondarenko won the Song Prize of the 2011 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition.

The 24-year-old Ukrainian will make his Glyndebourne debut this autumn with the Touring Opera (Malestata in Don Pasquale) and will return next summer for the Festival (Marcello in La boheme). This summer he will return to the Salzburg Festival (The Emperor of China in Rossignol).
