In 2019/20, Dmitry will appear at the Teatro Real as Filippo II Don Carlos, Oper Frankfurt, Boris Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk; Dutch National Opera, Zaccaria Nabucco; The Metropolitan Opera, Fiesco Simon Boccanegra; Opéra national de Paris, Pimen Boris Godunov. Concert appearances Beethoven Symphony No. 9 with the Prague Philharmonia with Emmanuel Villaume as well as his debut at the Bayreuth Festival singing Shostakovich 13th Symphony “babi yar” in a special concert ahead of the Wagner Festival 2020.

Dmitry has worked with many leading conductors including Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Marco Armiliato, James Levine, James Conlon, Jan Latham Koenig, Ion Marin, Thomas Sanderling, Jesus López-Cobos, Riccardo Frizza and Mikhail Pletnev.
Graeme Broadbent studied at the Royal College of Music with Lyndon Vanderpump and in Moscow with Yevgeny Nesterenko. He was awarded the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire Postgraduate Diploma in 1991. He has performed with the Opera Comique, Theatre des Champs- Elysees, Theater an der Wien, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Festspielhaus Baden- Baden, New Zealand Opera, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra (Dudamel) and Accademia Santa Cecilia (Pappano). New productions for Opera North included Pinocchio, Der Zwerg and Seven Deadly Sins; and many roles for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden included Colline La boheme, Angelotti Tosca and King Marke Tristan und Isolde. Engagements include Eugene Onegin for the Scottish Opera, a new commission Monstrous Child for the Linbury Theatre of the Royal Opera House, Lieutenant Ratcliffe Billy Budd for the Bolshoi Theatre, and Menotti’s The Consul for the Welsh National Opera.

Hailed by critics for his stage presence and glorious basso cantabile, Ildebrando has been particularly renowned for the Mozart roles of Figaro, Count Almaviva, Leporello and Don Giovanni. In recent years he has added the great Verdi roles of Attila, Filippo II Don Carlo, Fiesco Simon Boccanegra and Banco Macbeth as well as Henry VIII Anna Bolena, Méphistophélès Faust and La Damnation de Faust to his repertoire.

Nahuel Di Pierro
Buenos Aires native Nahuel Di Pierro studied at Artistic Institute of the Teatro Colón. He is a former member of the Paris Opera Studio and the ‘Young Singer Project’ from the Salzburg Festival.
Throughout his career, Nahuel has built an enviable reputation as one of the most versatile basses of his generation. His impressive operatic repertoire ranges from baroque music to romantic belcanto.
An accomplished Mozartian, he has performed roles such as Masetto, Leporello Don Giovanni, Sarastro Die Zauberflöte, Achior La Betulia Liberata, La Voce Idomeneo, Figaro Le Nozze di Figaro, Guglielmo Cosí fan tutte and Osmin Die Entführung aus dem Serail in some of the world most prestigious opera houses such as Paris Opera, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Salzburg, Zürich Opernhaus, Aix-en-Provence, Edinburgh Festival, Buenos Aires, London, Valencia, Nancy, Luxemburg, Tel-Aviv, Dessau and Santiago.

Russian bass Nikolay Didenko graduated from the Moscow Academy of Choral Art in both singing and conducting. He was a soloist of the ‘New Opera’ in Moscow, and until 2005 was a member of the Houston Grand Opera Studio.
Following his training, Nikolay had many successes and sang roles including Frère Laurent Roméo et Juliette, Don Geronio Il Turco in Italia, Basilio Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Colline La bohème, Alidoro La Cenerentola and Oroveso Norma at houses including Houston Grand Opera, Opera de Paris, Royal Danish Opera, Cologne Opera, Washington Opera, New York City Opera, Bilbao Opera and Liceu Barcelona.
Jonathan Lemalu, a New Zealand born Samoan, graduated from a Postgraduate Diploma Course in Advanced Performance on the London Royal Schools Opera Course at the Royal College of Music and was awarded the prestigious Tagore Gold Medal. He is a joint winner of the 2002 Kathleen Ferrier award and the recipient of the 2002 Royal Philharmonic Society’s Award for Young Artist of the Year. He has performed at the Munich, Salzburg, Edinburgh, Ravinia and Tanglewood Festivals and at the BBC Proms. He is in great demand from the major opera houses, orchestras and recital venues of the world. Recordings include his debut recital disc on EMI with Roger Vignoles (Gramophone Debut Disc of the Year), an operatic arias disc with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and a disc of English and American songs with Malcolm Martineau.
One of the great singers of his generation Robert Lloyd was born in Essex and educated at Oxford University. In 1972 he was appointed Principal Bass at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, where he sang an enormous range of repertoire. He has also appeared with the major opera houses of the world including The Metropolitan Opera, New York; La Scala, Milan; the Deutsche Oper, Berlin; the Opera National de Paris Bastille; the Netherlands Opera; the Salzburg Festival; the San Francisco Opera; the Bolshoi and the Chicago Lyric Opera.
