Born in Belarus, Anatoli Sivko studied at the Belarusian State Music Academy and was a member of the Dutch National Opera Studio from 2010–11. Anatoli is the recipient of highly acclaimed awards at the prestigious International Francisco Viñas singing competition (2015, first prize) the Neue Stimmen Competition (2016, first prize).
This coming season, Anatoli makes his house debuts at Wiener Staatsoper in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Don Giovanni and at Naples Opera, Florida, as Escamillo in Carmen. He will also return to Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich, for Un ballo in maschera. On the concert platform, Anatoli performs under Vasily Petrenko with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.
During the 2017/18 season, Anatoli performed extensively throughout the UK with Glyndebourne Touring Opera as Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia). Anatoli also performed The Nightingale with Canadian Opera Company in Toronto, and concluded the season with performances at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Masetto (Don Giovanni).
