About Anatoli

The 2023/24 season brings debuts with Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro Radio Televisión Española and David Afkham in Rachmaninoff’s The Bells, and will sing the Chief of Police in Boston Symphony Orchestra’s tour of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, performing under the baton of Andris Nelsons at Carnegie Hall and Symphony Hall Boston, which will be recorded by Deutsche Grammophon.

Recent highlights include house debuts at Wiener Staatsoper in Il barbiere di Siviglia and Don Giovanni, Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Masetto (Don Giovanni), Glyndebourne Touring Opera as Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Naples Opera, Florida, as Escamillo in Carmen, Bayerische Staatsoper for Un ballo in maschera plus concert performances under Vasily Petrenko with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw as well as Berliner Philharmoniker in Berlin and Baden-Baden.

Anatoli is the recipient of highly acclaimed awards at the prestigious International Francisco Viñas singing competition (2015, first prize) the Neue Stimmen Competition (2016, first prize). Some other previous highlights on the stage include Anatoli’s role debut as Leporello at Gran Teatre del Liceu, his North American debut at L’Opéra de Montréal singing Il Re in Aida, performances with Bayerische Staatsoper in Un ballo in maschera, Turandot and Andrea Chénier, his Royal Opera House Covent Garden debut in Un ballo in maschera, Lucia di Lammermoor with the Israeli Opera, Zuniga in Carmen at Opernhaus Zürich and Pique Dame at Dutch National Opera.
