Dale Duesing began his musical studies in Milwaukee as a pianist. At Lawrence University in Wisconsin he switched from piano to voice and has subsequently pursued a major international vocal career. After a hugely successful career as a singer performing at the world’s great opera houses and with the world’s great orchestras and conductors he turned to directing. He made his directorial debut at Frankfurt Opera with Viaggio in Rheims to sensational critical acclaim and was nominated for Opernwelt’s best production and best director. He has also directed Medea for the Nationale Reisopera and The Rape of Lucretia and Les Contes d’Hoffmann also for Frankfurt Opera.
