Introduction
The Siberian baritone is a member of the prestigious Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers. He has already performed the title role in Eugene Onegin on the stage of the Mariinsky.
He took part in the Moscow Easter Festival (2012 and 2013), and with the Mariinsky Academy he has already sung recitals in venues such as Wigmore Hall, London, Serate Musicali, Milan, Prinzregententheater Munich, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse, Brucknerhaus Linz, Opéra national du Bordeaux and concert halls in Russia, Asia and Europe, mostly accompanied by Larissa Gergieva.
Gregory graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory (2006-2011). He was winner of the 8th Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Singers in Saint Petersburg (2011) and of the 5th Nadezhda Obukhova Russian National Competition for Young Vocalists in Lipetsk (2012). He also came in second at the 3rd Maxim Mikhailov Competition for Young Opera Singers in Kaluga (2013) and the 9th International Rimsky-Korsakov Young Opera Singers’ Competition in Tikhvin (2015).
He took part in the Moscow Easter Festival (2012 and 2013), and he also performed at the Grand Theatre de Genève, the Prince Regent Theatre in Munich, and in concert halls in Russia and Europe. Gregory will continue to study at the Mariinsky Academy and perform on the stages of the Mariinsky Theatre.
