[Translated] “The voice is well projected, very sure, dramatic with clear release and impeccable diction, he sings with a rare intensity all while being very engaged in the game, between the boy hiding in his mother’s skirt, and the young man madly in love. He is a real discovery.”

[Translated] “The young son of the governor is played by the tenor Migran Agadzhanyan, who deploys his talents as an actor, by his double interpretation of the son between childishness and maturity, but also of the singer with the powerful voice and resplendent tone. It is also during another duet of love that he marks the spirits, the one with his mother ‘U menja pered Gospodom’ … (I have before God no wish more ardent than your happiness! – act II, scene 9).”

“Pinkerton was Migran Agadzhanyan, from Belarus, a 26-year-old who won the second prize at the Operalia competition this year. His tenor is exciting and heroic, with bright high notes and a baritonal quality which gave expression and passion to his singing.”
