We are delighted to announce the general management of the young Canadian baritone Etienne Dupuis.
Already making a name for himself on the operatic stage, Etienne has appeared at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Posa ‘Don Carlo’, Zurga ‘Les Pêcheurs de Perles’ and returned as Figaro ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’, Germont ‘La Traviata’, Marcello ‘La bohème’, Silvio ‘Pagliacci’ and as the title role in ‘Eugene Onegin’. He has also performed Figaro ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ and Joe de Rocher ‘Dead Man Walking’ at Opéra de Montréal, Zurga with Opera National du Rhin, Opernhaus Zurich and Opéra de Nantes, the Count in ‘Le nozze di Figaro’ with Calgary Opera, Metternich ‘L’Aiglon’ with Montreal Symphony Orchestra and ‘L’Heure Espagnole’ and ‘L’Enfant et les Sortilèges’ at the Glyndebourne Festival.
Future engagements include Claudio ‘Beatrice et Benedicte’ at La Monnaie and ‘Les Feluettes’ with Opera de Montréal. He will return to the Opéra National de Paris and will make his debuts with Liceu Barcelona, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Teatro Real Madrid and the Metropolitan Opera. Etienne will also return to the Deutsche Oper Berlin to sing Posa ‘Don Carlo’ and Renato ‘Un ballo in Maschera’.
