Askonas Holt is delighted to welcome violinist Tobias Feldmann to its roster for representation worldwide.
Praised for his “lustrous tone” (Sunday Times) and “virtuosic energy” (Fanfare), Tobias is a former prize-winner of both the Queen Elisabeth and Joseph Joachim competitions. He has performed with orchestras including the Residentie Orkest, NDR Radiophilharmonie Orchester, Tampere Philharmonic, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Utah Symphony and Barcelona Symphony, and collaborated with conductors John Storgårds, Nicholas Collon, Karl-Heinz Steffens, Fabien Gabel, Ainārs Rubiķis, Stephan Zilias and Reinhard Goebel.
“Feldmann seized the dramatic potential of the piece, and in Beethoven’s Romance in F found exactly the right rapturous, unspotted lyricism. He was the real discovery of the evening.” The Daily Telegraph on Tobias’ Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra debut, Nov 2019
Forthcoming highlights for Tobias include concerts with the Helsinki Philharmonic, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Tonkünstler-Orchester, Berner Sinfonieorchester and Moscow State Symphony; along with recitals at Alte Oper Frankfurt, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Beethovenhaus Bonn and Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival.
