We are delighted to announce the worldwide management of three young artists from the Bolshoi Theatre Academy; sopranos, Kristina Mkhitaryan and Nina Minasyan and the baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky.
Kristina Mkhitaryan, soprano
Kristina graduated from the Galina Vishnevskaya Theatre Studio in Moscow in 2004 and until 2008 studied with Ruzanna Lisician at Gnesinss Music College. Kristina is a wonderful young artist who sings with great passion and the ability to really move an audience. She took third place at the Francisco Vinas 49th International Singing Competition in Barcelona last year and was also a finalist at the Hans Gabor Belvedere International competition in Vienna.
Andrey Zhilikhovsky, Baritone
The Moldovan baritone first completed his studies in choral conducting and whilst at college continued to study as a vocalist. In 2007 Andrey was a finalist in the St. Petersburg International Vocal Competition and in 2009 went on to win third prize in the Obraztsova Competition as a result of his fantastic voice and wonderful stage presence. Zhilikhovsky joined the Mikhailovsky Theatre as a soloist in 2010 and has performed roles such as Belcore in L’elisir d’amore, Baron in La traviata and Dancairo in Carmen.
Nina Minasyan, Soprano
Nina graduated from the Tchaikovsky Music School and in 2010 became a soloist of the Yerevan Conservatory Opera Studio. She won the first prize at the Armenian Tatevik Sazandaryan competition in 2011 and in the same year entered the Young Artists Programme of the Bolshoi Theatre. Nina’s wonderful coloratura is what sets her apart and as part of the Bolshoi programme she has developed in roles such as Amina in La Sonnambula and Semiramide.
