The Berliner Philharmoniker joins the 3D revolution.
It has been announced that the first ever screening of a classical music concert in 3D will be of the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Sir Simon Rattle. The concert of Mahler’s Symphony No 1 and Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances was recorded in Singapore last year, at a concert arranged by Askonas Holt. This will be screened internationally and shown in cinemas in the UK on 9 May.
