Christopher Maltman begins operatic marathon in Vienna

Tonight, Christopher Maltman begins a marathon of performances at the Vienna State Opera. Throughout October he will be performing in three different productions alongside a stellar line-up of internationally acclaimed singers. 
Christopher starts performances tonight, when he sings Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia. He then stars as Prospero in Thomas Adés’ The Tempest with Askonas Holt colleague David Daniels, who sings Trinculo. At the end of the month his run culminates with performances in the title role of Eugene Onegin alongside Anna Netrebko as Tatjana.
