Corinna Niemeyer debuts with Orchestre de Paris

Corinna Niemeyer makes her debut with the Orchestre de Paris this evening in an all-Poulenc concert streamed live from the Philharmonie.

The programme features Poulenc’s Concerto Champêtre and Concerto for Organ – for which Corrina will be joined by harpsichordist Jean Rondeau and organist Loraine Llorca respectively – alongside the composer’s only purely symphonic work, the Haydn-esque Sinfonietta. The concert can be viewed on Philharmonie Live on Wednesday 10 March at 20:30 (CET).

The concert marks Corrina’s return to Paris since working with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in October 2020. Later this season she will conduct the Orchestre National des Pays de Loire, Ensemble Modern and the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg – the latter as their new Artistic and Music Director.
