Curtain rises on Christine Rice’s operatic season!

Saturday sees the beginning of Christine Rice’s wonderful 2013/14 opera season, with her reprising her portrayal of the fiery Carmen. This is swiftly followed by Judith Bluebeard’s Castle in Bordeaux, a role she premiered at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. She then returns to her other London operatic home, English National Opera, to sing Dorabella in Phelim Macdermott’s new production of Cosi fan tutte. Christine will then go back into the rehearsal studio to prepare for the opening of her 2014/15 season in a new production for Welsh National Opera.

Toi toi toi for a wonderful season!
