Daniel Harding and Andrew Staples to tour with Orchestre de Paris for Britten’s Requiem



Conductor Daniel Harding and tenor Andrew Staples will take part in the much anticipated Orchestre de Paris’ tour of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem. Following a thrilling opening night on 15 May, the ensemble will present a second performance tonight (16 May) at the Cite de la musique in Paris. The orchestra and soloists will then travel to Hamburg for a concert on 22 May at the Elbphilharmonie before continuing on to Munich on 24 May (Philharmonie am gasteigand) and finally to Linz on 25 May (Brucknerhaus Linz).

Daniel and Andrew will be joined by German baritone Christian Gerhaher and British soprano Emma Bell. For more information regarding any of the performances, see the Orchestre de Paris website.
