This week, Daniel Harding sets off to Asia for his inaugural tour as the Music Director of the Orchestre de Paris. Over the next two weeks they will perform eight concerts throughout South Korea and Japan including the music of Berlioz, Debussy, Britten and Mahler. They are joined by soloist Joshua Bell to perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto and tenor Mark Padmore to sing Britten’s Serenade for tenor, horn and strings.
Having received great critical acclaim for his opening weeks in Paris, Daniel’s collaboration with the Orchestre de Paris is quickly growing strong and he is thrilled to be returning to Asia as their Music Director.
