Daniel Harding opens first season as Music Director of Orchestre de Paris

This week, Daniel Harding will open the Orchestre de Paris’ 2016/17 season as their newly appointed Music Director. Upon accepting the position, he said “The orchestra is in a great shape, but with an exciting desire to be challenged and to continue growing”.
Daniel’s first performances will be Schumann’s dramatic ‘Scenes from Goethe’s Faust’, for which he is joined by a world-class line-up of soloists, including Askonas Holt tenor, Andrew Staples.
The two opening concerts take place in the Paris Philharmonie on Friday 16 and Sunday 18 September 2016. Find out more here
