Daniel Harding returns to the Wiener Philharmoniker

Next week, Daniel Harding returns to the Wiener Philharmoniker to join the orchestra on their European tour, conducting concerts in Barcelona (Palau De La Música Catalana) and Florence (Opera di Firenze). The programme includes Beethoven’s ‘Coriolan Overture’, Strauss’ ‘Death and Transfiguration’ and Brahms’ 1st Symphony.
Maestro Harding then flies immediately onto Tokyo to join the New Japan Philharmonic for performances of Mahler’s 8th Symphony, with Askonas Holt’s star tenor Simon O’Neill joining him on stage for three concerts.
