David Daniels & Heidi Stober make their role debuts in Houston Grand Opera’s ‘Giulio Cesare’

The show must go on…

David Daniels and Heidi Stober make their role debuts as Tolomeo and Cleopatra respectively in Houston Grand Opera’s performances of Giulio Cesare, conducted by Patrick Summers and directed by James Robinson.

Two months ago, Hurricane Harvey brought disruption and caused extreme devastation to much of the US. Very sadly, HGO’s home, the Wortham Theater Centre, was badly flooded leaving them with extensive damage to both stages and the costume and wig departments. Refusing to be beaten by the storm, HGO have been re-homed at the George R. Brown Convention Center (dubbed the HGO Resilience Theater) until at least May 2018 whilst money is raised to repair their home. Their season will continue as planned at their temporary home.

We send our best wishes to all our colleagues at Houston Grand Opera at this difficult time.

Giulio Cesare runs from 27 October – 10 November 2017. For more information and tickets, see the HGO website.
