Duncan Ward makes his debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra

Concluding a busy few months of engagements with Munich Radio Orchestra, Vienna Radio Orchestra and National Radio Orchestra Romania, Duncan Ward will be making his debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra this weekend. The concert will take place at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Saturday 29 June with a programme of Debussy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with soloist Alena Baeva, and Sibelius Symphony No. 2 in D major.

Duncan closes his 2018/19 season with an Orchestre de Chambre de Paris debut, performances of Britten’s opera Death in Venice alongside Mark Padmore at the St Endellion Festival, a BBC Proms Inspire concert, and finally a debut with Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie.
