ENO role debuts for Lucy Crowe and Ashley Riches

Lucy Crowe and Ashley Riches make role debuts at English National Opera in the second revival of Fiona Shaw’s critically acclaimed The Marriage of Figaro. Conducted by ENO’s Music Director Martyn Brabbins, they perform the roles of Countess and Count Almaviva respectively.

Ashley continues his busy season, having recently made his London Symphony Orchestra debut under Sir Simon Rattle to great acclaim. He will perform Claudio Aggrippina at the Grange Festival this summer.

Later this season, Lucy will perform concerts with the Berliner Philharmoniker with Andrew Staples, under Daniel Harding, and a ‘Female Portraits’ programme at the Wigmore Hall. Lucy will return to English National Opera next season.

The Marriage of Figaro runs from 29 March to 14 April 2018. For more information and tickets, see the English National Opera website.
