Enrique Mazzola’s debut at the Rossini Opera Festival

Following the great success of the new production of Donizetti’s Poliuto at Glyndebourne Opera Festival, Enrique Mazzola conducts another rarely performed opera – La gazzetta at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Italy.
This new production of La gazzetta is hotly-anticipated by all Rossini lovers and experts following the recently discovered new quintet.
The production is staged by Marco Carniti, with the orchestra and chorus of Teatro Comunale of Bologna and features the wonderful talent of young and prominent singers including Maxim Mironov, Nicola Alaimo, Hasmik Torosyan, Josè Maria Lo Monaco. The opera opens at Teatro Rossini on 11 August 2015, with further performances on 14, 17 and 20 August. 
This concludes Maestro Mazzola’s fantastic 2014-2015 season, with other notable performances including his remarkable debut at Zurich Opera House, the critically-acclaimed concert version of  Meyerbeer’s Dinorah at the Berliner Philharmonie (part of Meyerbeer cycle at the Deutsche Oper Berlin), and outstanding concerts at the new Philharmonie de Paris with Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France.
