Eric Lu debuts with Royal Stockholm Philharmonic

Eric Lu debuts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic this week, performing Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto under the baton of Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. The concert will be live streamed via the orchestra’s Konserthuset Play platform on Thursday 25 February.

The performance marks Eric’s return to the Sweden following concerts in previous seasons with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, working with Martin Fröst and Thomas Dausgaard. It also coincides with his inclusion on Classic FM’s “30 Brilliant Musicians Under 30”, published earlier this week.

Last month saw Eric make his Detroit Symphony debut with Mozart’s D minor concerto; later this year he performs with the London Symphony, Seattle Symphony and Finnish Radio Symphony, and give recitals at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig and Philharmonie in Cologne.
