Firsts for Domingo Hindoyan & Franco Fagioli in Opéra national de Lorraine’s Semiramide

Domino Hindoyan returns to Opéra national de Lorraine to conduct his debut of Rossini’s Semiramide, featuring Franco Fagioli in the role of Arsace.

The performances mark Franco’s first Rossini role on stage, eagerly anticipated following the critically acclaimed release of Rossini, his first album for Deutsche Grammophon, which features Arsace’s famous entrance aria Eccomi alfine in Babilonia…Ah, quell giorno ognor rammento.

Opéra national de Lorraine’s new production of Semiramide opens on Tuesday 2 May, with subsequent performances on 4, 7, 9 & 11 May. More information can be found on the house’s website.

Selected performances will be recorded for broadcast on Culturebox from 11 May 2017, and on France 3 at a later date.
