Having recently returned from a US recital tour the quartet are looking forward to continuing their residency at London’s Wigmore Hall in December, exploring the quartets of Jörg Widmann. They take the complete cycle to Berlin in March for their debut at the Pierre Boulez Saal. May and June 2018 will also see the quartet embark on a European tour performing the latest production by acclaimed director Calixto Bieito. Titled The String Quartet’s Guide to Sex and Anxiety, it explores the tempestuous relationship between sex, anxiety and music and features the quartet performing on stage alongside four actors.
Other highlights include a return to the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Mecklenburg Vorpommern Festival, Lincoln Center New York and their debut recital tour of New Zealand.
