Ildebrando D’Arcangelo makes welcome return to the Royal Opera in Macbeth

Ildebrando D’Arcangelo makes a welcome return to the Royal Opera House as Banquo in Verdi’s Macbeth, conducted by Antonio Pappano. A revival of Phyllida Lloyd’s 2002 production, Ildebrando is joined on stage by Željko Lučić and Anna Netrebko in this creation using Verdi’s 1865 Paris revision of the opera.

The performance on 4 April 2018 will be broadcast live in cinemas across the world, as part of their Live Cinema Season.

Later this season, Ildebrando will join Etienne Dupuis and Matthew Rose in Don Carlo at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and will return to London as Leporello Don Giovanni (with Anatoli Sivko). Other future engagements include returns to Geneva, London and New York.

Macbeth runs from 25 March to 10 April 2018. For information and tickets, see the Royal Opera website.
