This week saw the announcement of the winners of the 2015 International Classical Music Awards. Askonas Holt artists were well represented in the CD and DVD categories with wins for Joyce DiDonato’s ‘Stella de Napoli’ (vocal recital), Michael Tilson Thomas’ recording of ‘West Side Story’ (opera recording of the year) and the premiere recording of Unsuk Chin’s piano concerto with Sunwook Kim, Myun-Whun Chung and the Seoul Philharmonic (contemporary).
