James Baillieu embarks on US tour with Benjamin Appl

James Baillieu joins Benjamin Appl for a US tour of their disc Heimat released on Sony Classical. Hailed as “charming” by Gramophone, the album received rave reviews from The Guardian, Financial Times and The Piano Magazine.

Performing works including Die schöne Mülllerin, Schwanengesang, and Winterreise the tour takes them to:

Engagements this season include a Scottish tour with flautist Adam Walker, a European tour with Peter Moore as part of the ECHO Rising Stars scheme and appearances at Wigmore Hall, the Heidelberger Frühling and Verbier festivals. Further future engagements include a new residency at Wigmore Hall, a recital series with Allan Clayton, appearances with Tara Erraught and tours with Benjamin Appl and Lise Davidsen.
