Johannes Moser: stunning start to the season

Johannes Moser returns to Europe this week following rave reviews for performances of Elgar and Shostakovich with the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras and Enrico Chapela’s Magnetar for electric cello conducted by the composer in Mexico City.

His recent release of the Dvorak and Lalo Cello Concertos for Pentatone continues to wow the critics and in London we will hear him play the Dvorak with the LPO/Orozco-Estrada on 25 November. This week at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg he performs solo Bach and the Schumann Concerto and in Madrid he will pair up with Veronika Eberle and new Principal Conductor David Afkham with the Orquesta Nacionales de Espana in performances of the Brahms Double Concerto on 27th and 28th November.
