Jonathan Cohen makes his Konzerthausorchester Berlin debut

Jonathan Cohen is in Berlin and looking forward to making his debut with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin this weekend (21 and 22 October). He will conduct a programme including works by Mozart, Handel and Haydn’s Piano Concerto No. 11 in D major with soloist Annika Treutler. He then continues onto the Kölner Philharmonie for a performance of Handel’s Il delirio amoroso with his own ensemble Arcangelo next Wednesday 25 October, joined by AH artist Louise Alder. Next month, Jonathan returns to Les Violons du Roy, with whom he is Music Director Designate; conducts the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio; and as an Artistic Partner of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, directs them in Handel’s Messiah.

Jonathan finishes a busy 2017 with a debut with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and a rare performance of Vivaldi’s serenata La Senna Festeggiante with Orchestre d’Auvergne.
