Jonathan Lemalu to return to Covent Garden for Puccini’s Tosca

Toi toi toi to Jonathan Lemalu who will sing the role of Sacristan in Puccini’s Tosca at the Royal Opera House starting on 27 May. He will be joined by a stellar cast including Vittorio Grigolo as Cavaradossi, Kristine Opolais as Floria Tosca and Sir Bryn Terfel as Scarpia in the critically-acclaimed Jonathan Kent production.

This will mark the end of a very busy spring for Jonathan during which he sang the Speaker and his first Sarastro (The Magic Flute) at the ENO. Future operatic engagements include The voice of Neptune (Idomeneo) in Salzburg this summer and Publio (La Clemenza di Tito) at the Theater an der Wien in October.

Tosca runs from 27 May to 20 June. For more information or to buy tickets, see the Royal Opera House website.
