Jongmin Park makes his Bergen Nasjonale Opera debut as Lodovico in ‘Otello’

Next week, Jongmin Park makes his debut with the Bergen Nasjonale Opera in a semi-staged performance of Verdi’s Otello, starring in the role of Lodovico. The production is conducted by Edward Gardner, who is reunited with Stuart Skelton in the reprise of the title role. Also in the cast is Latonia Moore as Desdemona and Lester Lynch as Iago.

Following OtelloJongmin returns to the Wiener Staatsoper in the new year for productions of I puritaniLe Nozze di Figaro, Macbeth and Die WalküreJongmin will also make his Dallas Symphony Orchestra debut in Die Walküre conducted by Jaap van Zweden, joined on stage by Michelle DeYoung and Simon O’Neill

Highlights for Edward in the new year include debuts with the San Francisco Symphony and New York Philharmonic, as well as returns to the Gewandhausorchester LeipzigDeutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and Radio Filharmonisch Orkest.
